L’artiste Sergiy Lysyy est né le 14 mai 1971 à Odessa, en Ukraine. Il a étudié à la Faculté des Beaux-Arts d’Ukraine. Depuis 2012, il vit et travaille à Klaipeda, en Lituanie.
Depuis 2014, il participe activement à des expositions internationales en Lituanie et à l’étranger : en Angleterre (Rhode Island), en Chine, à Hong Kong, en Inde, en Suède, en Italie, au Mexique et en Ukraine.
En 2015, il a figuré parmi les 20 finalistes du concours de Bornova, en Turquie. En 2017, il a remporté le premier prix du concours international ABURAWASH PRIZE avec sa toile « Vilnius ». En 2018, il a remporté le prix du concours international « Best of Landscape ». – Lauréat local du concours international d’aquarelle GAWA 2019 à l’exposition internationale au Mexique avec le tableau « Soirée (Pont de Klaipeda) », lauréat en 2020 de l’exposition internationale SDWS (40e exposition internationale de la San Diego Watercolor Society – États-Unis) avec le tableau « Madrid », lauréat en 2025 de l’exposition internationale NWS (National Watercolor Society – États-Unis).
Participation à des expositions internationales de peinture en plein air en Italie, en France, en Inde, en Chine, en Suède, en Estonie, en Lettonie, en Arménie, en Lituanie…
Admission en 2021 comme membre associé de la National Watercolor Society (NWS).
Membre de l’Académie internationale d’aquarelle depuis 2021.
Participation active à la vulgarisation des techniques de moulage à l’aquarelle en Lituanie et à l’étranger, organisation de démonstrations et d’ateliers de maîtrise de cette technique à travers le monde. Depuis 2024, Sergiy Lysyy organise l’exposition internationale de peinture en plein air à l’aquarelle de Neringa (Lituanie).

In 2015 he became the Top 20 winner in Bornova, Turkey, in 2017 he became the first place winner in the international competition ABURAWASH PRIZE with the painting Vilnius, in 2018 he won the international competition 2018 Best of Landskape. – GAWA International Watercolor, 2019 local winner at the international exhibition in Mexico with the painting « Evening » (Klaipeda Bridge), 2020. became the winner of the international exhibition SDWS (San Diego Watercolor Society’s 40th International Exhibition) with the painting « Madrid », 2021. participated in the exhibition NWS National Watercolor Society with the painting « New Morning Morning »
Participated in international plein airs in Italy (Monza), France (Rochemaure), India (Ranchi), China, Sweden (Karlskrona, Karlstad), Estonia, Latvia, Armenia.
2021 admitted as an associate member of the National Watercolor Society (NWS).
2021 Member of the International Academy of Watercolor.
Since 2015 he has been the representative of the Fabriano Festival in Italy in Lithuania, the representative of IWS Lithuania.
Actively participates in popularization of watercolor casting techniques in Lithuania and abroad, organizes demonstrations and lessons of watercolor casting mastery around the world.
