Michael est souvent appelé un « aquarelliste ensoleillé » – ses œuvres d’art aérées et transparentes ont l’air d’émettre la lumière du soleil. Son éducation artistique académique traditionnelle, sa vaste expérience en tant que scénographe de théâtre en chef et sa carrière de peintre à l’huile éclairent maintenant sa priorité en tant qu’artiste aquarelliste – la lumière. Sa principale croyance est que parfois même un tas de déchets avec un bel éclairage peut devenir une œuvre d’art. Michael est un aquarelliste de renom, avec des expositions et des ateliers dans le monde entier, de la Bolivie à la France en passant par l’Australie.

Michael is often called a “sunny watercolorist” – his airy, transparent artworks look as though they emit the sunlight. His traditional academic art education, extensive experience as a head theater stage designer, and oil painter career now inform his priority as a watercolor artist – light. His main belief is that sometimes even a pile of rubbish with beautiful lighting can become an artwork. Michael is a watercolor artist of great renown, with exhibitions and workshops all over the world, from Bolivia to France to Australia.
